Welcome to the official website of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Lakewood, NJ!
We hope that you won’t be just a “virtual” visitor - come by and experience one of our worship services.
Everyone is welcome at All Saints!
As the Priest-in-Charge at All Saints,
my ministry focuses on helping people connect with God and with one another.
I believe that we are all to live out the Great Commandments given to us by Jesus:
To love God and love one another.
One way All Saints’ Church carries out Jesus’ Great Commandments is by reaching out to the community.
All Saints holds a soup kitchen on the second Saturday of each month to serve those in need.
We also rent out our facilities to organizations meeting other ministry needs in Lakewood.
The primary way All Saints lives into the Great Commandments is through our worship,
which is centered on the Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion).
We pray, hear readings from the Bible, muse upon the mystery of God,
and share Communion in services three times a week - perhaps one of these services fits your schedule?
Our Wednesday morning service, held in the parish hall chapel at 10 am,
offers special prayers for healing.
Our regular Sunday morning services are held at 8 am and 10:30 am in the church,
with church school for school-aged children beginning at 10:15 am.
The 8 am service uses more traditional language and has no music;
the 10:30 am service uses more contemporary language and features music.
We’re part of the Diocese of New Jersey
and the Episcopal Church USA.
An important part of our identity as Episcopalians is a deep respect for Scripture, Tradition, and Reason.
We don’t claim to have all the answers to life’s deepest mysteries at All Saints,
but we’re willing to ask the questions and explore answers with one another -
and we’re willing to support one another on our journeys through life.
